a note from our presidents

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!

On behalf of the Cushing PTO Executive Board, we’d like to invite you to join us for another great year with our Cushing Cats. Your generous support of the PTO enables us to support so many wonderful things at Cushing. Over the course of the school year, we’ll be working behind the scenes on everything from in-school enrichment activities and presentations, field trips, book fairs, field day, teacher appreciation, classroom supplies and after school community building events.

GET INVOLVED

As a parent or caregiver of a Cushing student, you’re automatically a member of our PTO. Volunteering with the PTO is a great way to get involved and meet other members of the Cushing Community. This year, our motto is “many hands make light work” and our goal is to divide all that we do into smaller, more manageable tasks so that your involvement in the PTO will be an enjoyable experience.

We use newsletters, Facebook and Instagram to keep our community in the know about all things Cushing. Visit our calendar to help plan ahead for upcoming events.

DONATE TO OUR ANNUAL APPEAL

This year, we are using an appeal for donations as our primary fundraiser. Our hope is that we’ll raise the bulk of the funds needed to support our PTO activities and free up our resources to support school and community building events throughout the year.

We’re keeping busy

    Student Programming

    Our PTO works tirelessly year-round to bring exciting, educational programming to students at Cushing- and to bring Cushing students out into the world to experience it firsthand. Cushing School PTO covers the cost of everything from educational school assemblies like The Geography Gameshow to field trips and transportation for students in all grades
